The bargain price series of emerging comics continues at The Witham in Barnard Castle.
North East based comic Carl Hutchinson brings his full length show to The Witham in Barnard Castle on Wednesday 11th March. The show starts at 8.00pm with doors opening at 7.30pm.
Carl Hutchinson is a multi-award winning comedian, having won the Beat The Frog World Series and Magners Comedian of the year awards in 2007. He's also a Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Nominee and So You Think You’re Funny Finalist, and was seen on ITV's FHM Comedy Hero and performed at the highly respected Big Value Comedy Showcase in Edinburgh in 2011 and The Comedy Zone in 2013.
Carl supported former three-time wrestling heavyweight champion and bestselling author Mick Foley on both of his UK Comedy Tours; in 2011 and 2012 respectively. Carl then supported Chris Ramsey on the last leg of his ‘Offermation’ tour in 2012, and has been his regular tour support ever since.
Carl performed his first solo hour at the 2012 Edinburgh festival where it was shortlisted in the Amused Moose Awards and has received outstanding reviews from all of the major festival press. He returned to the Edinburgh Fringe with his second and third solo hours in 2013 and 2014, before heading out on a tour of large theatres alongside Chris Ramsey.
Peter Dixon, of Funny Way To Be Comedy Club, said: "We have been trying to arrange a date in Carl's busy schedule for a long time so we are delighted he is going to be performing his 2014 Edinburgh show in Barnard Castle. These 'Witham on Wednesday' nights are designed so that we can present top emerging comics do their full shows at a very affordable ticket price of £5. The previous two have been a great success and we are sure this one will be too."
The 11 March comedy show in Barnard Castle as part of Funny Way To Be Comedy Club's blockbuster comedy programme at The Witham.
They joins the likes of Mock The Week star Gary Delaney, Hebburn creator Jason Cook, and Phoenix Nights star Justin Moorhouse in the market town over the coming months.
